OLETA RIVER STATE PARK – SUNNY ISLES, FL
This is a photograph of a cabin in Oleta River State Park, located off of NE 163rd Street in Sunny Isles, Florida. The gear used in this photo of a cabin in Oleta River State Park, was a Nikon D90 camera body attached to a Tamron 28-300mm lens.
Canoeists and kayakers can paddle the river to explore this amazing natural area. Swimming from a 1,200-foot sandy beach and saltwater fishing are also popular activities. Picnic tables and grills are available. Nine pavilions can be rented for a fee. All have water, and the largest one has electricity. Visitors can rent kayaks, canoes, and bicycles. For overnight visits, the park has rustic, air-conditioned cabins and a youth campground for organized groups. Located at 3400 NE 163rd Street, off I-95 in North Miami.
CABIN INFORMATION
Fourteen quaint little cabins, with covered porches and picnic tables, provide a great place to relax, with the convenience of being near shopping, restaurants and entertainment in Miami. Most cabins are equipped with one double bed, a bunk bed and air conditioning. Exceptions are Cabin 2, with one double bed only, and Cabin 3 with two sets of bunk beds. Cabin 1 is ADA-accessible. Linens are not provided. While cabins have no kitchens or bathrooms, a restroom with hot showers is located nearby.
For the guest’s relaxation, televisions and phones are not provided.
Reservations may be made up to 11 months in advance through ReserveAmerica. Book Online or call (800) 326-3521 (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) or TDD (888) 433-0287. Pets are not permitted in cabins.
There is a minimum two nights stay in cabins on weekends and holidays, either Friday and Saturday night, or Saturday and Sunday nights. A single Friday or Saturday night may be reserved only if the following Saturday or Sunday night is already reserved.
Cabin Rental: $55 per night, plus tax.
