Iguana at Night at Enchanted Forest Park

WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY – ENCHANTED FOREST PARK, FL
This is my attempt at photographing an Iguana at night. The photo was taken at Enchanted Forest Park, a beautiful park in the city of North Miami, Florida. The gear used was a Nikon D90 camera body with a Tamron 28-300mm lens and a high ISO.While these Iguanas are not indigenous to Florida, they have become feral and seem to enjoy habitating in this park. While most of the time they are various shades of green, when, during mating season, they display beautiful shades of green, blue, orange and red. They also are excellent swimmers.

I luv your photos
I\’m totally jealous of your work!
Love your photography!
Beautiful, fantastic reptiles – shame they’re a feral species and surely destructive to other [native] animals [either through competition for food or direct predation etc …], but still, I’d have to be honest and say I’d love to see them around … great pics
